About this course
For most beginners, listening is the part of TOPIK I that feels least under control. Reading lets you go back; audio does not. This course builds the skill in the same order the paper does, starting from single words and ending with short passages.
It begins with the test itself and with ear training. Before any question types, you spend time simply getting used to the sounds, the speed and the rhythm of spoken Korean at TOPIK I level. That groundwork makes everything after it easier.
Then the question blocks. Q1 to 16 are word-level questions, where one word decides the answer. Q17 to 24 are sentence-level. Q25 to 30 are passage-level, where one recording carries two questions. A separate lesson deals with listening stamina, because concentration usually fails before comprehension does.
The audio was made to match an official TOPIK I recording, including the opening chime you will hear in the exam hall, and every recording plays twice exactly as the real test does. There are 361 clips in total. Picture questions use more than a hundred images, so a picture question in the course looks like a picture question in the exam.
Exam mode is a small feature that changes how honest your practice is: the answer options stay locked until the audio has finished playing, so you cannot quietly read ahead. Five named listening traps cover the wrong answers that sound right, usually because they repeat a word you just heard.
