About this course

Writing is often the section where scores move fastest. It is only four questions, the rubric is public, and each question rewards a method you can learn. Most learners lose marks not because their Korean is weak but because nobody ever showed them what the graders are looking for.

The course starts with foundations. You learn how the section works and how it is scored, the rules of the 원고지 manuscript grid, the written style (문어체) that the exam expects, the vocabulary that keeps appearing in writing tasks, and how to build clean sentences and paragraphs. These five parts fix the habits that quietly cost points on every question.

Then each question gets its own part. Q51, the practical texts, has a four-step method. Q52, the explanatory texts, has its own. Q53, describing charts and data, comes with a phrase bank you can reuse in any data question. Q54, the argumentative essay, is built around the Four Core Sentences method for planning, plus idea banks drawn from past essay topics so you are never staring at a blank page.

Model answers are shown on a real 원고지 grid, not as plain text, so you can see the spacing and punctuation exactly as a grader will see them. “Deduction Clinic” lessons take an answer apart and show where each mark was lost. One essay is written twice, at two different score levels, so the difference between a Level 4 answer and a Level 6 answer stops being a mystery.

The course finishes with eight full practice sets and a part on strategy and exam day, including how to divide the fifty minutes. Ten standalone Writing mock tests come with the course, each with model answers and the scoring rubric so you can mark your own work honestly.
